The Music Teacher
I taught Upper El for many years. One August, my principal called and asked me to lunch to discuss something. I figure what it was. They needed a new El Music Teacher. I said we should go home and speak to my husband about it. He pointed out to her that if I did it, everybody at school, even teachers would be singing. She said, “Oh, I know that!” So I did it. When I started, there was the Band teacher and me. 6 yrs later when I left, there were 4! Him, Jr hi choir, Parochial and me!
